Boston Made has been building an AI picks-and-shovels watch around that physical and commercial layer. A shovel may be a busway, switchgear, a cooling distribution unit, network access, a financing structure, or a small supplier with a critical place in the delivery chain. The question is practical: which piece can be verified, delivered and made useful to a customer?

The next useful step is to turn each record into a maintained trail: procurement, qualification, installation, commissioning, customer acceptance and eventually measured output or revenue, with the source and date attached at each stage. The watch is a working, curated research and navigation layer today. It is not live telemetry, an automated market scanner, an investment recommendation, or proof that each proposed project has been completed. Seeded and illustrative views retain their labels. This discipline is how the shovels become reliable enough to use.
